Cinecittà Studios, simply knowns as Cinecittà, are an excellent set of Theatrical and Film studios of international importance built in Rome in 1937. They are Italy’s most important film studios but are also sets for TV productions and foreign film productions. More than 3000 films have been produced here, 90 of which have been shortlisted for an Oscar (47 won the statue).
